In-Game Background
The game is an RPG fantasy adventure that will set foot on the continent of Porcinia, a visualized map where mushroes (Mushroom heroes) originated. The main storyline of the game is to use Mushroes to defeat the Rot monsters which slowly inhabit some barren areas in Porcinia. In this way, players around the globe could work together to cleanse the land and completely get rid of the Rot Monsters. To take note, it is not simply a hack and slash game since it requires strategic techniques among players.
Choosing the best heroes as well as equipping powerful items to challenge Rot monsters is required to achieve victory.
Entering the game, you will be introduced to a total of 20 mushroes that you can use to start your adventure, no worries as the game progresses new Mushroes will be developed by the team to accompany your journey. Mushroes are classified into six roles which are the Tank, Warrior, Marksman, Support, Mage, and Healer. Each mushroes has distinct characteristics as well as unique active and passive skills. Each also has its own unique background story of why they become protectors of the land. As for the enemies they were also classified into two categories: Basic Enemies and the Boss.
Just like mushroes, enemies have their stats which means the higher the level the higher the stat of the enemy.
In-Game Mechanics
Going further, there are in-game items that are needed to be equipped with the mushroes. Items are the essential parts of the game to increase the hero stat. There are six items to be equipped and each item varies on its rarity, from wooden items (having low stats) to golden items (give higher stats), also items to be equipped will depend on the rarity of the mushroes. Items can be purchased using the in-game currency, which is gold and diamonds.
Aside from purchasing items, in-game currencies can also be used to increase hero levels, hero skills, and item levels. Along with the items, potions are also present to support and give passive and active buffs for the mushroes.
Going to the most essential element in the game, which is the mushroes or the heroes to be used in the game. Mushroes are summoned by the players using an in-game item which is called soul stones. Each mushroes summoned will have indicators that will determine its strength:
The Level — are experiences that are earned through Campaign or by receiving EXP Potions. Each level grants a stat bonus depending on the current Evolution Rank. Each mushroes can level up at a maximum of 100.
The Rarity — it has already been decided for each hero and cannot be changed throughout the lifetime.
The rarity of the mushroes is classified as follows: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Unique.
The Evolution Rank — (mushro stars) this can be increased by collecting Mushro Soul Stones. Upgrading it requires a certain amount of soul stones and gold, the higher the evolution you want the most amount of soul stone and gold will be needed.
All these indicators are shown on-screen through mushroes avatar and border.
How does the game work?
The players will have to play the chapters (with 10 missions per chapter) in campaign mode having two fighting modes which are manual and automatic. As of now, 3 chapters yet are finalized but more chapters will be added soon. The main task is to beat the current level to advance to a new one. Players can use 5 mushroes to clear the game, this means your mission score will be determined through the death of your mushroes. The more mushroes died in the battle the lower your mission scores.
Earning plenty of mission stars, the players can unlock additional rewards. Clearing the whole chapter, the player will get loots and will have a chance to acquire rare items. Mention, unequipped items will be placed in the player’s inventory having limited capacity, but they can be expanded using diamonds.
Aside from the main storyline (campaign mode), the game also offers the most interesting mode, which is the Arena, where players fight other players to compete with ranks and to get better rewards. The reward will vary depending on your ranking.
The higher your ranking is, the more rewards you will get.
One of the things to pay attention to in this game is the events in which players will be given free gold and soul stones they might as well purchase diamonds and gold at a cheaper price. But of-course events are seasonal, so the game provides daily quests and rewards. Each quest to be completed the players will be given rewards too. Daily quests are permanent and can be done every personal game day.
